Made-to-Order Jewellery
Most of my jewellery is made to order. These pieces are not pre-stocked, meaning that each item is individually handcrafted after purchase. The creation process for made-to-order jewellery typically takes 10–15 business days before the item is ready to be shipped or picked up in Copenhagen. Production time may vary slightly due to workload or material availability.
One-of-a-Kind Jewellery
Some jewellery pieces are one-of-a-kind. These unique pieces exist as a single item only and are available for immediate purchase.Once ordered, one-of-a-kind pieces will typically be shipped or ready for pickup in Copenhagen within 2–3 business days, unless otherwise stated.
Custom Made Jewellery
Custom made jewellery is created in close collaboration with you and made specifically according to your personal specifications. Before production begins, we will meet in person or communicate via email or phone to define the design, materials, sizing, and overall process. A final design or prototype will be presented for your approval.
Production time for custom made orders varies between 1–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece, the agreed process, and my current workload. An estimated timeframe will be provided, but this timeframe is indicative and not guaranteed.
Once the final design or prototype has been approved by you and production has begun (casting, stone setting, or fabrication), the order is considered final and binding.
In accordance with Danish and EU consumer law, custom made jewellery is exempt from the right of withdrawal and is therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of standard (non-custom) jewellery within 14 days of receiving the item, without stating a reason. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify me by email at cehofski.jewels@gmail.com within the 14-day period.
You are responsible for returning the item safely and for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original packaging and in unused condition.
Once the returned item is received, it will be inspected for signs of wear, damage, or alteration. Items showing signs of use are not eligible for a refund. If approved, the purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
I am not liable for loss or damage during the return shipment. I recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining the tracking information until receipt is confirmed.
Warranty & Complaints
According to Danish legislation, all purchases are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. You may submit a complaint regarding defects or deficiencies that arise within this period. However, the right to complain does not apply if the defect is due to negligent use, lack of maintenance, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Please read the section on product care carefully. I recommend saving your receipt or invoice as proof of purchase, as it is required when submitting a complaint.
Prices
All prices are listed in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% Danish VAT, unless otherwise stated.I reserve the right to change prices without prior notice due to fluctuations in the prices of precious metals, gemstones, or other production-related costs. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the applicable retail prices for that order.
Handmade Characteristics & Liability
All jewellery is handcrafted. Minor variations in shape, surface, finish, and texture are a natural part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.Cehofski is not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers, customs handling, or circumstances beyond my control.
